My Chest Infection Has Decided to Stay

Not happy that the first round of antibiotics didn’t take care of this chest infection. Today, I found out from a coworker that it took her a month before she felt better. I’m on my third week! I’m hoping that my chicken soup and medicine (Mucinex) will work. It’s hard being upbeat and brilliant in front of my students when I’m breathing like I just climbed a mountain.

I went into the kitchen to get a refill of wine. My black cat, Mozeley, looked at me as if I interrupted a private date. He looked at me for almost 5 minutes. Mozeley has always been an “observer.” He will sit on the coffee table and watch my every move. It shouldn’t have been a surprise that had me under surveillance.

I know it’s after Christmas, but I had to share this video. Love Actually is my favorite Christmas movie! (Actually, it’s the only Christmas movie that I watch every year.) So, I had to see St. Wilfrid’s versions of the scenes from the movie. They did an awesome job. It definitely put me into the Christmas spirit.
