Heeey! I hope you’ve all had a relaxing and productive Saturday. I’m taking a small break. I had so many thoughts in my mind this week (more than my usual ADHD brain), that I can’t organize them into blog posts. I’ll be back soon.Logging Off for a Minute!
I try to keep my daytime “Teacher Life” from my nighttime adult life. However, I saw this last week and had to share. I think I would’ve died if a moth this big flew in front of me. It’s beautiful, but it’s massive compared to our NJ brown moths.
Damn! All I ever see are those tiny tan moths fluttering by my porch light. I never realized moths could be larger or colorful! #TeacherLearnedSomethingToday
It’s Caturday and “School is Over” Saturday! That means I can focus my time, mind, and energy on my coding. Today I was designing a portfolio website using Bootstrap 4. Actually, I’m trying to review HTML5 and different frameworks. It seemed like a good idea to review Bootstrap using W3Schools’ website. Yasss! Dirk Gently, Holistic Detective Agency is finally back! I’ve been waiting for Season 2 on Hulu. I enjoyed the original BritVersion and this reboot is pretty good. Glad I noticed the new episodes today. It was a great break after today’s World Cup Games (still shocked about Messi). I like the quirky humor and the supernatural theme in the episodes. The show also appeals to my morbid sense of humor. Seasons 1 and 2 are now on Hulu, so enjoy. By the time you read this, I will have binge-watched half the episodes.
EastEnders Phil Mitchell (Steven McFadden) did his best to convince Kim Fox-Hubbard (Tameka Empson) not to trust DI Ainsworth. He even told Kim that “He was trying to be nice,” when warning her about Ainsworth. That made me giggle. (I actually laughed out loud and interrupted my cat’s nap.) The look on the Fox Sisters’ faces was priceless.
Nice isn’t a word I would associate with Phil. It’s rare that we see a full smile on his face. Phil Mitchell being nice? Never! But he continued with his story hoping it would charm the Fox Sisters… It didn’t work…Continue reading
