Grid Garden – A game for learning CSS grid

A game for learning CSS grid layout

I spent Day 1 of my #100DaysofCode Reboot reviewing CSS Grid.  This game helped me to get back into coding after stopping for a few months. I had fun playing this game, watering my carrots and killing my weeds. (The easiest garden I’ve ever maintained.) I’ve read the articles on Medium and on different websites. They’ve all been informative and helpful. However, as a visual learner, I needed just a little bit more reinforcement. I found it easier to understand the code as I was moving water and weed killer between the columns and rows. Today I finally got it! I made it through Level 6 today. Hopefully, by the end of the weekend, I’ll finish all 24 levels. Then, I’ll be ready to start some new projects on Codepen. If you need me, I’ll be playing in my garden.

I’m hoping that my chicken soup and medicine (Mucinex) will work. It’s hard being upbeat and brilliant in front of my students when I’m breathing like I just climbed a mountain.
