Wonder…

Wonder. Go on and Wonder. William Faulkner, The Sound and the Fury

Faulkner was one of my favorite authors in college (along with Toni Morrison). After reading the first few pages of The Sound and the Fury, I was hooked on Faulkner’s “stream of consciousness” literary style. I remember this line.

We forget about wondering when we become adults. Our minds are so filled with daily issues and to-dos, that we have little time to sit still and imagine…I need to wonder more often.
