A wonderful person who understands the stupidity our country is wrapped in with Trump, added this song to the “Crazy Man Dancing in Saudi Arabia.” That was brilliant because Rock the Casbah is appropriate for the U.S.’s current F-Up.

I remember when this song and video came out. I was in high school. People talk about the 80s like it’s a bad word. But we had AWESOME music in the US and from the U.K. ?? The Fixx (Stand or Fall), Madness (Our House), and Howard Jones (What Is Love). Too many to name, but everyone had an important role in shaping the music of our generation.

Play The Clash, Rock The Casbah now, and conversations will be stopped to dance to this song. It was a combination of Rock & Roll and 80s Dance. I also grew up in the 70s with the oil crisis where my family had to wait in long lines for gas (not natural disaster generated. This song is timeless. It fits now with Drumpf. Sad that almost 25 years later, we have come back to the same place.
