These ladies appeared last night and didn’t disappoint! The Ahmed Sisters arrived on Albert Square ready for some action and unintended chaos. Judging from Masood Ahmed’s (Nitin Ganatra) facial expressions, we already know his nieces will be a handful.
Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) and Habiba Ahmed’s (Rukku Nahar) introduction as Walford’s newest ladies was seamless. It’s so refreshing for me to see characters who represent a different point of view and another cultural view of London.
I feel like we’re getting back to the original EastEnders cast which was more diverse than the last few years. (That was back in the mid- to late 80s y’all.)
I’m ready to see how Iqra and Habiba are going to mess with Albert Square.
