There is nothing better than coming home on a rainy Friday after work than to see these two trying to share my close personal space. Mozeley keeps tapping me for pets and kisses. Shinxley lays behind me giving me a reminder head-butt to pay attention to her. I love my cat kids. 🥰
I was minding my business enjoying my walk when I had the feeling I was being watched. I looked over, and this doe was relaxing eating plants under a tree. She was less than 10 feet away from me, and she didn’t even move as I took the picture. Our deer families have become bolder over the last few years. They aren’t afraid to walk nearby when we in our courtyard.
It was a beautiful scene that reminded me how much I love the warmer weather. However, as I walked to my porch, I kept thinking about one thing— This doe is keeping an eye on my hosta plants. 😡
I don’t know if it is the weather, but my cat kids have become more affectionate with me. Shinxley has started laying beside me on the couch more often. Mozeley almost climbed into my bra (and over Shinx) just to get his pets. It was the comfort I needed on this snowy day and for my sore leg. #Caturday
As I lay in bed still dealing with muscle aches from Covid19 (12/26/2021), all I can do is shake my head. This blog post came up at the right time. My symptoms were minimal (fatigue and muscle pain) since I was vaccinated and boostered. Yet, I’m now facing Long Covid and worried about its impact on my heart condition.
