I loved this song from the Miser Brothers in A Year Without Santa Claus! It’s one of my favorite Christmas-time songs. Just the beat alone brings back memories. We would watch all of the cartoons as a family. My parents even had their favorites. I miss the magic and happiness of the Christmases I enjoyed as a child. Even with my niece and nephew, it isn’t the same. It’s just different. For now, I’ll take this happy memory from the Miser Brothers.

I realized today that I spent most of my summer indoors because it was way too hot. During the summer, I usually walk downtown and sit outside the neighborhood restaurants. (Have to remind them Black people exist in the town.?) Instead, I sat inside computer coding and catching up on my favorite shows.
It was too beautiful today to not sit outside. I’m normally a Starbucks girl (Shh! Don’t tell them!). However, today I lounged with my pumpkin spice latte at Track Five. The coffee was great and the seat was a perfect for people-watching. Glad I took the time to sit outside and enjoy the weather.
