Thanks to my dad, I love British culture and television. That’s why I started HipAnglophile. I wanted to share my favorite British television shows and travel locations. My dad introduced me to the Benny Hill Show when I was 9 years old. I also remember quite a few evenings watching The Avengers, Doctor Who, James Bond movies, and The Saint.
Since then, I have watched every murder mystery series from Miss Marple to Midsommer Murders. My new favorites are EastEnders, Casualty, and Holby City. So, I hope you enjoy my posts on HipAnglophile!

Line of Duty Season 4 is on Hulu. I have been into this show since Season 1. I have watched BritTV since I was 9 (39 years ago) well before cable or streaming. I am a hardcore Anglophile. This show is phenomenal. No American version needed! This show as written and produced in the U.K. should stand on its own.
