My life, my interests, my lessons, my journey. Enjoy the ride!
Thanks to my dad, I love British culture and television. That’s why I started HipAnglophile. I wanted to share my favorite British television shows and travel locations. My dad introduced me to the Benny Hill Show when I was 9 years old. I also remember quite a few evenings watching The Avengers, Doctor Who, James Bond movies, and The Saint.
Since then, I have watched every murder mystery series from Miss Marple to Midsommer Murders. My new favorites are EastEnders, Casualty, and Holby City. So, I hope you enjoy my posts on HipAnglophile!
Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) is a true hustler. He’s always coming up with ideas to make money for the Queen Vic’s. So, when he came up with the “Wife/Husband/Partner Swap” now known as Ball & Change, I had doubts about the storyline. How interesting could a spouse/partner swap be? My …

Yassss!!! The best Tuesday night news I’ve had in awhile! ?????? Amazon Prime has episodes of The Saint with Sir Roger Moore! This was one of the first shows my dad introduced me to when I was 8 or 9 years old. It was this show, Benny Hill and The Avengers that helped me to fall in love with British TV. Still the best after all of these years!
Watching Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) last night was heartbreaking. She was walking around the square in deep emotional pain. Her mom, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), was joyful and deep into her obsessiveness about getting Bex ready for university. There were times she tried to talk to Bex, but she would say she was fine. It’s just sad to see her suffering.
The saddest part about yesterday’s #EastEnders episode was watching Bex sell her guitar. ? She was selling one of her favorite possessions & gave the money away. Bex was preparing to end her life. The only one noticing her distress was Lisa. #BexsStory
Today was the day I had to do it. I decided after the past three days that I needed to stop using the Ballum hashtag in my EastEnders tweets. This has nothing to do with the Ballum fans. It has to do with me personally.
Unless you’ve been in a situation where you’ve been betrayed by a lover, you may not understand the deep cutting hurt that person feels. Whitney experienced the public humiliation of calling off her wedding bc Callum wasn’t honest with her sooner. #EastEnders 1/ — BovaryCee ♋️??? (@BovarysComplnt) September 5, 2019 …
