Catvice on a Friday Evening

Hi everyone! ??‍♀️ I’m blessed to have another Friday evening on this planet. I just found out some devastating news about a teacher friend/colleague. I don’t know the words of comfort I could say to her now. All I can say is that ladies, you must take care of yourselves. Please go to your gynecology appointments and yearly mammograms. PLEASE take that time to take care of yourselves. On that note, I’m just going to share the mundane.

I’m so happy the temperature has been lower. That means… Doors and windows open!! My cats have reacted in different ways:

Shinxley loves controlled temperatures. She was wondering why the air wasn’t on.

Mozeley, however, had zero f¥cks to give as he was lounging in the window. Be more Mozeley during these times. At the end of the day when life kicks you in the ass, it won’t care how correct and anal you were.

Happy Easter everyone! ??‍♀️ I hope you are coping with your lockdown and staying healthy. The highlight of my weekend was seeing the Easter Bunny rolling down my block in the back of a pick up truck. He had a fire truck escort. I hurried out of my condo and ran to the street. (No one was in my courtyard.) I waved to that bunny like he was Santa Claus. It was comforting to see something normal during these abnormal times.

In fact, it has been tough doing this lockdown while being single and living without another human. I do have Shinxley and Mozeley, my cats. Although it’s been interesting, their company doesn’t replace human companionship.

S & M appear to have adjusted to my new home schedule. Normally I’m home during the summer. Now, I rarely leave the house unless it’s for prescriptions, liquor, food, liquor… you get the idea. ? However, I think S has snapped just a little bit.

My Sun-Kissed Mozeley

I love watching my baby cat Mozeley lying in the window. He reminds me that being still is the best way to calm down. I needed this moment after this week of uncertainty with Coronavirus.
