Watching Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) last night was heartbreaking. She was walking around the square in deep emotional pain. Her mom, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy), was joyful and deep into her obsessiveness about getting Bex ready for university. There were times she tried to talk to Bex, but she would say she was fine. It’s just sad to see her suffering.
The saddest part about yesterday’s #EastEnders episode was watching Bex sell her guitar. ? She was selling one of her favorite possessions & gave the money away. Bex was preparing to end her life. The only one noticing her distress was Lisa. #BexsStory
Yasss! It took an hour, but I finally figured out my “div” container wasn’t large enough… That meant my icons couldn’t spread out if they didn’t have room. Something so simple! Yet, it took an hour and a Google search before I realized my mistake. My #100DaysofCode is never dull!
I miss EastEnders Denise Fox (Dianne Parish)! How can John Yorke and the writers let this brilliant actress sit on the sidelines? If it was Martin Fowler going through grief, Stacey Fowler would be by his side. Even when Mick Carterwas in his feelings about leaving Shakil behind (Which he got over very quickly…), Linda Carter was there to comfort him.
I was thinking about the effort it takes to blend storylines in soaps as I was catching up on a week’s worth of Corrie and Emmerdale. The producers and writers only have about 30 minutes to tell characters’ stories and to keep us entertained. Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks have managed to do that consistently. However, my favorite, EastEnders, is still trying to find that “30-Minute Magic”.
