I know I typed it in correctly. It works when I put it into Codepen. So…
WHY ISN’T IT WORKING WHEN I OPEN THE FILE IN THE BROWSER AFTER USING SUBLIME TEXT!
Sometimes life under the U.S. regime gets so stressful, I need a laugh. I splurged for Boomerang because I’m a cartoon-type-of-girl. Looney Toons, Flintstones, Jetsons…I love them all. It’s only Tuesday, but I needed some Courage the Cowardly Dog. That dog, Muriel, and Eustace… living in the middle of Nowhere… were classic. I hope Courage has retired to somewhere nice without Muriel and her husband. That dog deserves a rest after saving her from death. But tonight, he gave me the laugh I needed.
I’m getting close to finishing my Landing Page project (FreeCodeCamp). I know I’ve said that before. However, it’s taken longer than I expected. Since my last post about my page, I’ve erased and restarted at least three times. I get so caught up on color schemes and animation, that I stray away from my main task. I need to focus on the User Story and demonstrate my current skills. Eventually, I will be able to code a webpage with a parallax image. When the time is right, I will master the interesting animation techniques. But for now, I just need a page that includes a video, a place to insert email, and a fixed top navbar.
I started working on my Product Landing Page two days ago. I decided to keep the Caribbean travel theme from my Survey Page. The tests set up by FreeCodeCamp have been very helpful. I get to see in real-time if my code is working and if I’m following the User Story accurately. It’s still a work in progress, so I’ll keep you posted.
I just completed my third Responsive Design Project tonight. Introducing my RF Travel Survey: Favorite Caribbean Islands form! The easy part was completing the code for the survey. It took longer for me to come up with the topic and questions. Once I did, the project was easy.
The first two projects I completed before FreeCodeCamp added more tutorials. Now that I’ve learned more about responsive design and using media queries, I can go back to redesign my earlier projects. This was the first time where I felt all of the skills I have learned were finally sticking.
